Following extensive ongoing consultation and assistance from local residents, local interest and community groups and other organisations such as the Greater Wellington Regional Council, the Titahi Bay Beach Reserves Management Plan has been completed. This plan will guide Porirua City Council with decision-making and day-to-day management of the beach. Six principal actions have arisen from the plan which include working in conjunction Great Wellington Regional Council, protecting the reserves environmentally and visually, developing and/or upgrading beach facilities and engaging with residents and visitors.
