About TBCG
The 2025 Annual General Meeting of the Titahi Bay Community Group will be held at St Matthew's Church, 43 Kapiti Crescent 6-8pm on Wednesday 20 August 2025. There will be a discussion "Kai in the Bay", to discuss issues and opportunities around community growing and distribution of food (see below). We will also seek feedback about your top-of-mind issues and help you do something about them if you want. There will be discussion and pizza, and the necessary formal AGM stuff (which we don't envisage taking long at all). We welcome anyone who would like to become part of the committee (hint - it can be useful on your cv).
Origins and purpose
The Titahi Bay Community Group was set up in 2014 by a large group of residents who felt that the representative voice of Titahi Bay needed to be better expressed to the Porirua City Council. It is open to any current or past resident of the Bay. The subscription (set annually) is currently free. To join, please fill out this on-line form.
One of our main roles is to provide support for new or small groups, and especially to help them find funding.
This is our current Constitution.
